The Community Historical Recognition Program (CHRP), part of the Integration Program Management Branch, is a $25 million four-year grants and contributions program that provides funding for community-based commemorative and educational projects that provide recognition of the experiences of ethno-cultural communities affected by historical wartime measures and/or immigration restrictions applied in Canada, and that promote these communities’ contributions to building Canada. Visit the Chinese Canadian Stories web portal to view selected materials from CHRP community projects across the country.

In this section, we feature several CHRP projects that collaborated with Chinese Canadian Stories between 2010-2012. Point your mouse cursor over “CHRP Projects” on the top menu bar to find out who they are.
