In one of my previous posts, I could not identify the English name for jim may fou 尖尾埠. I took this question to the June Community Workshop, but still could not find the answer. I continued to look this up in the Chinese Times for this name. Two interesting articles popped up. One was in 1905 and the other in 1936. They both mention jim may li fou 尖尾利埠. Finally I contacted Dr. David Lai and thanks for his help. We confirmed that 尖尾埠 and 尖尾利埠 are the same place referring to Chemainus, BC. Thank you, Dr. Lai!
